Revisiting the past, and seeing more truth each time-- until finally, it's a truth you didn't want to know-- is kind of the obverse of the many time-travel stories my husband predicted.
I feel for this poor guy, whose life was beautiful without qualification until this knowledge crept in. Still a wonderful son, still a wife that he loves, but the light has changed.
