I have actually been seeing partners doing so on each other's entries a few times already, so, I wouldn't worry about it if Sean doesn't... and, I don't blame you for preferring to respond to the comment I made to his over the one I made on yours... his I made first, so, it was the more indepth version, whereas you had a shorter summary of the same thought, just so that I wasn't repeating myself.
